You can find us at 597 High Street, close to the Penrith City Council building and Westfield.
We’re a short walk through Westfield from Penrith train station, and if you’re coming by car we’re just off Mulgoa Road, past the roundabout on High Street. There are several parking options nearby.
Our Box Office is on the ground floor, at the Westfield end, near the bar and the lift.

Located within close proximity to the council chambers, Penrith city library and Westfield shopping centre and fully refurbished in 2005, the Joan offers spaces for events of all sizes, including a 530 seat concert hall, 376 seat drama theatre, 80 seat performance studio, 2 foyers, 1 bar and 6 meeting rooms.

ECC RIGGING 2025
Weighing in at 145kg this is the lightest 7m quadpod style rig available in Australia making it ideal for professional performers to setup for events.
Easy to grip leg pieces at 48mm diameter makes installation safe and secure.
Standing a towering 7m this rig is ideal for professional aerialists as it can handle big drops, dynamic loads as well as duos.
Fully Certified and insurance compliant to Australian standards means you can use our Mega Rig for public performances at events, festivals, council event, on your home insurance, ect.

Rigging will be from a single point from the centre of the rig. No height changes will be permitted during the routine. Rigging for all of the competitions is overseen by a qualified rigger who has worked closely to Aerial Arts and is contracted to the Q Theatre Penrith.

ECC STAGE SETUP 2025
ECC AERIAL STAGE LAYOUT
The Q Theatre is a 378 seat, semi-circular, thrust stage performance space that includes wings on both sides, soft drapes, a dock, crossover and a fly bar hanging system typical of a standard proscenium theatre.
ECC ACRO/MANIPULATIONS STAGE LAYOUT
The entire stage surface is plywood. All acrobatic/manipulation competitors will perform on the hard floor stage of the Q Theatre.
